For the first time in the history of Nepali movies, Rekha Thapa has featured camels in her upcoming movie ‘Himmatwali’. Camels live in desert so, they had to be brought from Rajastan, India.
Using camel in her movie cost Rekha about 2 lakhs for a 2-hours-long shooting. Rekha says that, she wanted to offer variety in the movie so, she had used the animals. Rekha will probably use this and the hand-less leading actor in the promotion of the movie.
It was the first ride of Rekha on camel and she enjoyed the ride. On the first day of the shooting in Mahendranager rekha was featured riding horses. The shooting schedule in the Western city is 20-days-long. After the completion of the shooting in Mahendranagar, Rekha will return back to Kathmandu to finish the remaining shooting.
More photos of the shooting of ‘Himmatwali’ were posted in earlier post.

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday stayed the nationwide release on Friday of Hindi film Gulaab Gang, starring Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla, on the plea of activist Sampat Pal who claimed that the film has been inspired by her group Gulaabi gang.
Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva restrained the film’s producers, Sahara One Media Entertainment Ltd, and their agents from “releasing, exhibiting, distributing and promoting” the film till the next date of hearing on May 8.
The court was of the prima facie view that “irreparable damage and injury” would be caused to Pal if the movie is released.
It noted in its order that while the loss to the producers would be monetary, she will suffer both financial loss, as her copyright over Gulaabi gang has been used without her permission, and loss of reputation “which cannot be calculated in terms of money“.
Pal in her plea has claimed that her permission was not sought prior to making of the film and had alleged that it contains defamatory content which would adversely affect her reputation.
Pal was present in court, dressed in a pink saree, which has come to symbolise her group.
Her group is actively involved in fighting social injustices against women, at times, adopting unconventional means.

A similar story may have been told before but this movie mesmerizes you with adventure, romance and attitude. It shows why someone from one of the most prestigious and influential families would prefer a dacoit's life. Why that dacoit is better than her sophisticated would-be? Perhaps it tells you what is real life and love.
A Highway is something that seems to never end. Similarly this film is more about the journey rather than its end or beginning. Director Imitiaz Ali has done a wonderful job. There was nothing exaggerated about the movie, but it had a continuous flow, never leaving you bored.
Randeep Hooda portrays a tough guy with a soul. Though his tough exterior makes us believe that he is capable of doing harm, when he softens there seems nothing more natural than it. Randeep plays this complex role easily.
Alia Bhatt was beautiful without ever going overboard. Her acting blends well with the rebellious strong character in the movie. Both the camera work and the script did justice to the movie.
Veera (Alia Bhatt) comes from an upper class society, but is a rebel within. Mahabir (Randeep Hooda), a notorious dacoit, kidnaps her. Their journey that follows is the crux of the movie. How they get to know each other and then start liking each other is developed through time. How Veera enjoys her new found freedom, how she realizes that this journey is more exciting than it could get in her society are all shown in the movie.
The relations made during the journey have no pretences. Perhaps to highlight this difference, an incident of child abuse is also mentioned.
Though there is not much of a novel story to be spoken about, this movie is indeed a must watch. The movie could be a real life story but you would never get tired of it.

Part one of the extended version of the conversation with Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan about working together for the first time in Shaadi Ke Side Effects
Farhan Akhtar plays a quirky husband in his upcoming film 'Shaadi Ke Side Effects' and the actor says his character in the romantic-comedy completely relied on Vidya Balan, who is starring opposite him.
Farhan said it was a big relief when director Saket Chaudhary told him that Vidya is cast opposite him in the film because it was important that the two actors shared a good chemistry.
"Vidya is a brilliant actress. I have full respect for her as a performer and when you work with a good actor your performance also tends to get better. When I heard that Vidya was opposite me, it was a big relief. I knew that it will be a smooth ride thereafter," Farhan told PTI in an interview.
'Shaadi Ke Side Effects', hitting screens on February 28, is a sequel to hit 2006 film 'Pyaar Ke Side Effects' which had Rahul Bose and Mallika Sherawat in it.
Farhan, 40, who is married to celebrity hairstylist Adhuna Akhtar and a father to two daughters, however, does not relate to his character of a married man in the movie.
"I don't relate to my character much. There are many nuances to it. Not every married is like the way it has been shown in the film. My character is funny and quirky. I completely relied on the script for this role but yes my experience as a married man did help at times," he said.
Farhan's portrayal of Milkha Singh in 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' won him many laurels and Farhan feels that one should not compare the biopic with his first release of the year, which is a light-hearted fun film.
"These two are completely different films. I don't think much about the box office success of a film before taking it. I only think about the script when saying yes to a film. Both the films are of different genre. SKSE is more of a fun-oriented film."

The fact that Gunday opened to an approximate collection of over 44 crore at the box office on its opening weekend only goes to prove that Priyanka Chopra, touted as the current generation's 'female superstar', has always been lucky at the box office. She has also walked away with rave reviews, a dynamite combo that very few can boast off as the 500-crore actress enjoys an envious commercial success ratio and critical acclaim.
The film created magic at the box-office as it hit theatres across the nation last Friday, giving audiences a special Valentine's treat - keeping to the lucky tradition that whenever two heroes have fought over Priyanka on-screen it has always spelled success at the box office be it Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Dostana and the recent Gunday.
